This video explains the process of building the Water Processing Plant “La Tomilla II” a joint effort of the Regional Government, Private Enterprise and Public Institutions. The video shows the technical and political complexities that resulted in the construction of this plant that provides drinking water to a large sector of the population of Arequipa, Peru. Nawi Films managed to interview all key players in this project, providing a complete picture of the complicated process of consultation, coordination and implementation of the project. The video was shown during the opening ceremony of the Water Processing Plant and the local media. The video has served to show the impact of the company on the wellbeing of the population and the sustainable development of mining activities in the region.
